Padel and Prosecco in Bucharest: What Happened When 25 Strangers Hit the Court

We tested a simple theory:

Prosecco + padel + 25 social strangers = a surprisingly great night.

It worked even better than I expected.

From awkward to competitive in one drink

People showed up not really knowing each other.

Then somewhere between the first drink and the Mexicano rotation format, the awkwardness disappeared and the competitive chaos began.

Some rallies were genuinely impressive.

Others looked like four people trying to swat mosquitoes with frying pans.

Which made it even better.

The part that wasn't about padel

What I loved most wasn't the padel, though. It was watching people who had never met before:

And suddenly strangers become people you actually want to see again.
