Padel & Prosecco Night in Bucharest, Round Two: Returning Faces and “32 Relationship Requirements”

“She has 32 relationship requirements.”

That's a sentence I overheard at our second padel + prosecco party.

My icebreakers are usually things like “What was your first car?” or “What's a funny fear you have?” So I'm not sure how one table drifted into dating standards and relationship negotiations.

But apparently it did.

At one point one of the guys looked at her list and said: “Even if you cut that in half, you'd still only have a 0.003% chance of finding that guy.”

It didn't shake her confidence one bit.

The best feeling as a host

Roxana Jianu from Padelmania and I co-hosted this one together.

And one of the best feelings as a host is seeing people come back.

Alexia Budur, Alexandra Nedea, Adrian Badea and Florina Palan all returned from the first padel night. That means a lot to me.

We also had plenty of new faces, including international guests like Angelos Fragkos, Eric Bremstrom, Daria Petrova and Celia Wrighton.

What we changed this time

Every event teaches me something. This time we:

• added non-alcoholic drinks for the drivers
• split the courts between beginners and advanced players
• collected new ideas to make the next one even better

That's what I love about these nights.

People come for the padel or the prosecco.

They leave remembering the conversations.
